We just rescued a very small kitten. I am not sure how old she is, but our appt isn’t until next Tuesday. She is able to eat dry food mixed with a little water to make it easier to chew. Should I still provide her kitten formula for vitamins and nutrients?
Thank you for the quick responses and advice. I do provide her an additional bowl for water also. I am heading to Petsmart right now to get other supplies that were suggested. Thanks again!
I have a 3 month old kitten and an 11 year old cat. Both of them like to eat little and often so their feeding bowls are always out. They both enjoy dry biscuits and recently I’ve noticed that the kitten will push the big cat out of her way so she can get to his food, he then just wanders over to her food.
Is it important that she’s eating the right sort of food for her age? She really seems to prefer adult cat food.

Blue Buffalo Kitten Dry Food, Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe, 7-Pound Bag
Tags: 7Pound, Blue, Brown, Buffalo, Chicken, food, kitten, Recipe, RiceMy kitten will be 4 weeks old this Sunday. Her two siblings eat the kitten food very well by themselves; however, my kitty only wants mommy or the bottle. The problem with mommy is she doesn’t want to feed them nearly as often as before.
This is my first cat (from a kitten) and these are my first (and last) litter (3) of kittens. This particular kitten goes to her new home in just two weeks.
She will use a litter box, but is not interested in solid food.
Any advice?

Wellness Kitten Health Cat Food, 5-Pound, 14-Ounce Bag
Tags: 14Ounce, 5Pound, food, health, kitten, WellnessMy 13 week old kitten won’t eat kitten food. We’ve tried wet, moist and dry. The only few brands of cat food he will eat is labeled for cats and kittens. The fat content isn’t as high as in the kitten food but I don’t know how to get him to eat the kitten food. Is this ok since it is labeled for both cats and kittens?
