Young Lady Cats Split First Week Games
Any young team learns from experience, and so it went for the Booneville softball team in their first week. Three errors in the game against Charleston led to a 4-1 loss last Tuesday, but on Thursday the Lady Cats played errorless ball and were rewarded with a 7-6 win at rival Paris.

Lady Cats topple Jon Alder By VIRG RANKIN
Pictured left – North Union sophomore Bre Nauman comes down on the back of Jonathan Alder’s Hannah Graber going for a rebound at NUHS on Friday. Nauman helped the Lady Cats jump out to a 14-point lead in the first period in what eventually turned into a 67-51 non-league victory.

Lady Cats Fall Short
STILLWATER — After trailing by six points at the half Tuesday, Ponca City’s Lady Cats made a second-half push and caught the Stillwater Lady Pioneers before finally bowing 41-38.

The Three Rivers girls’ basketball team opened their Wolverine Conference game with Otsego on a 13-0 run and cruised to a 55-31 win.

Lady Cats fall to Golden Eagles
Sheena Aden collected a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Sara Trimarco added 10 points, but the University of Charleston outscored Pitt-Johnstown 16-7 to start the second half and broke open a two-point game on its way to defeating the Lady Cats 60-47 Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center.
